Candle Bar Experience

For now, our Candle Bar is reservation-only-no walk-ins just yet! Book your spot ahead of time and come hang out with us (up to 6 people per time slot) for a self-guided DIY candle experience. If you’d like to book more than 6 people, let us know, we’d love to have you! You can email us at hello@prairiecoastcandleco.com. 

You’ll get to create your own custom candle by choosing a vessel you love and pairing it with one of our fragrance options. With so many vessels and scents, you’ll find the perfect match for your style.

The Details

Our candle bar is mostly self-guided, but don’t worry-our team will be nearby to answer any questions you have along the way. Each candle takes about 30 minutes to make, plus about an hour to set before it’s ready to take home. While your candle is cooling, you’re welcome to browse the shop.

If you book within two hours of closing, just keep in mind your candle may not be ready until the next day. We can also ship your finished candle to you for $10 (discounted if you’re sending multiple to the same address).

Because the workshop involves hot wax and fragrance oils, participants must be at least 13 years old to pour on their own, or 8+ with a parent/guardian helping one-on-one. Anyone under 18 will need a waiver signed by a guardian. And for safety, all kids in the space-whether they’re pouring or not-must be supervised at all times.

Pricing

The cost of your workshop depends on the vessel you choose when you arrive. We have candle vessels starting at $25.00 +tax, and that price covers everything for your candle experience. When you book online, you’ll pay a $10 deposit that goes straight toward your final total at checkout.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change! If you need to cancel your candle pouring reservation, please give us a call at least 48 hours ahead and we’ll issue a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel within 48 hours of your booking, your deposit will be returned as an in-store credit (never expires, but can’t be used online). If you don’t show up and don’t call, the deposit is non-refundable.
