THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR A LOCAL COLLECTIVE MEMBERS ONLY

Join Prairie & Oak Foundry, a collaboration between Prairie Coast Candle Co. and Oak Creek Farmhouse for an evening of creativity, connection, and candle making at The Corner Event Suite in Waterloo.

Your Ticket Includes:
- Guided candle pouring workshop led by two experienced candle makers
- One 12oz custom candle to take home
- Pure soy wax + non-toxic, premium fragrance oils

How It Works:
We’ll guide you step-by-step through the candle pouring process, sharing our tips, tricks, and expertise along the way. You’ll select your fragrance from our curated scents, mix it into pure soy wax, and pour your very own candle.

The workshop portion takes about 1 hour. Your candle will then need approximately 1 additional hour to set before it’s ready to take home. During this time, you’re welcome to mingle, enjoy the space, or grab a drink or bite nearby before returning to pick up your finished candle.

Date & Time: September 25th,  7-9pm
Location: The Corner Event Suite – Waterloo, NE
Tickets: $60/person – includes all materials & instruction
Duration: 2 hours total (1 hour pouring + 1 hour setting)
CANDLE CARE
  • During the first burn, allow the wax to pool all the way to the edges of the jar.
  • Never leave a lit candle unattended.
  • Always burn your candle on a flat, heat resistant surface.
  • Do not leave a candle burning while you are sleeping.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Keep away from drafts like vents, fans, or windows.
  • Your 8oz candle should last 40+ hours 
  • Please trim your wick between burns. 
  • Always trim your wick to 1/4"
  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Recycle your candle jar when there is 1/4" of wax left at the bottom.
  • Never extinguish your candle with water.
  • Never add any debris of any kind to the candles melt pool.
